Patrick “Tate” Adamiak is free—and Lee “The Gun Writer” Williams joins Mark Walters with the latest on Tate’s life after receiving a presidential pardon.

Lee reveals that Tate plans to attend the Gun Rights Policy Conference in Dallas, where gun-rights supporters will have an opportunity to meet him and hear more about the case that could have taken decades of his life.

Mark and Lee then examine the Justice Department’s lawsuit against the U.S. Virgin Islands and its extraordinary allegations against the territory’s firearms-licensing system.

The DOJ alleges that applicants faced unreasonable delays, government-mandated gun safes, warrantless home inspections and demands that they provide a “proper reason” beyond ordinary self-defense before obtaining a firearm license.

According to the complaint, citizens were effectively required to surrender their Fourth Amendment protections before being allowed to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

Lee draws upon his firsthand experience living and working in the Virgin Islands to describe violent crime, government dysfunction and the vast difference between the restrictions placed on lawful citizens and the weapons reportedly available to criminals.

Finally, Mark exposes a developing problem in Georgia following the historic federal NFA decision. Although federal registration and transfer requirements were ruled unenforceable for certain affected plaintiffs, Georgia law may still condition lawful possession of suppressors, short-barreled rifles and other regulated items on federal NFA registration.

Mark explains why Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr must provide immediate clarification—and why gun owners in other states need to examine their own laws.
