Hello To all my legal, lawful, gun owning and gun loving fellow Americans.
I love my God, my family, my country and I love my guns. I will be listening, and I think this is great. I am from MASSACHUSETTS, where Ted Kennedy, who killed more people with his car, than any of us with a gun, USED to be a senator from..ha !
God bless you all and lets never ever ever give up our 2nd amendment rights
Great show … just heard about it from a friend. Are you allowing podcast rebroadcasting your show on non-profit web sites?
Rebroadcasting an archive show is fairly simple and can be used to help you advertise your live shows!
Hello,
Great show tonight. I was wondering what your position is on armed church security. We have introduced the idea to our Pastor here in MS who seemed open to the idea at first but now fights the idea due to “the elders” protesting to change. We’ve tried to explain the concept of due diligence and what will happen to the church and also to the Pastor in court without it.
We support you all the way!

I’m glad to hear about a radio show that will tell the hole story about our future as AMERIACAN’s.
Mark, thanks for having the segment with the Oath Keepers. I believe once their name and what they stand for get out, there will be many others who will join up, as we believe in our oath to the constitution.
Hi Mark, I live in Californicatedbyliberals where they are trying to outlaw open carry. They have already passed senate bills that limit the amount of ammo you can buy and you can not transfer more than a certain amount of ammo to a friend or family member. Next year we will no longer be able to purchase ammo by mail. They have also passed a bill that Canada recently abolished, that is another, redundent paperwork nightmare that calls for local law enforcement to hold registration on long guns. This cost Canada millions to facilitate and proved to be worthless, so I guess thats why this states political idiots encated it. Californicatedbyliberals is BROKE and continues to pass anti gun bills that are unenforcable and a fianacial drain on this state.
I sincerely hope the NRA gets involved is the latest attack on the open carry law in this state. I will be happy to forward these senate bills I am talking about to you. Just email me and I will send them to you.
AB 1934 ban open carry
AB 1663 limit ammo purchase
mark, love the show. i have a carry permit and carry all the time. keep up the good work. wesley shepherd, marietta ga
I’m listening from the Left Coast and wish that I could speak with the man who is running against Nancy Pelosi (sounds like a crab infestation, doesn;t it?). We need help here in California: most of those people who are crazy about guns are California legislators — including the one that declared three seperate statistics that all show how you have a 550% greater chance of being killed with a gun in California. [As a mathematician, I can tell you that as such, it is statistically impossible to have three different, unrelated statisitics equal the same amount.]
Of greater concern to me are the pieces of legislation that obama signed that directly effect firearm ownership in the United States, and I’d hoped to talk with you on the show about these.
Why is it that NO ONE talks about the pistol that Dianne Fienstein carries with her at all times (and has since she was mayor of San Francisco, when Harvey Milk was killed)? She has been busted twice by airport security at SFO for having a firearm in her purse — and has been arrested once before on a similar charge.
Mark –
Thank you for supporting Dr. Rob Steele. As you know he is a force to be reckoned with and Dingell is well aware of that fact. My husband and I are very involved as volunteers for Doc, along with many others. His decisive victory over his next opponent was a great ‘shot in the arm’ and his victory was something Dingell did NOT want to happen. Thank you for all you do to protect our second ammendment rights. We are grateful for your conservative views and for giving ordinary people a forum in which to speak. God Bless You!
We are new snowbirds-travel from AK to AZ and other locations during the snow months. Our first year wasn’t bad, second year-we started hearing and reading more about the incidents in the SW States..When we returned to AK, I was talking with the wife about buying a self protection firearm, she said to my surprize are you going to take course out in the valley-CCW.. I just completed that and to my surprise she wants to take the NRA first time gun user course, a friend of her’s also wants to take it because she never handled or shot either, and would like to know more about home defense..I’m feeling alot better about the money I spent and what I’m going to spend, that my wife is looking forward to taking the training…Since my wife and her friend started talking about learning, they seem to have a couple of other friends who are wanting to learn. I assumed that my wife who grew up on a farm, had fired a gun or a rifle.. We’ve been married for over 30 years and never talked about it, I’ve had a number of guns, rifle and bows over the year, and never once had we ever talked about her becoming familar with guns. Yes, she treats everything as it loaded, so they never get touched or moved..(everything is out of site or locked up in our house) Now are Sundays are watching NACAR in the morning to listening to AAR in the evening or recording it so we can listen to it out at camp or while we are traveling during the week. The majority of folks that I talk to are either retired, getting to retire are tired of having their rights taken… Our politicans had better wake up- they don’t want to support my 2nd ammendment rights- look for a new job, my vote counts- we don’t have to vote often like some party folks do, if all of us vote once, we can make the difference and protect our constitutional rights.
I would really like to listen to AAR on a website.
Are the three stations you refer to really WEB SITES or are they just radio stations?
I live in New Mexico and so far have not been unable to pick up any stations that carry ARR. ( We need an ARR station in New Mexico!)
Having trouble receiving radio signal here in Lilburn. May go

Hi Sean and Mark, Great show and guests! I’ve been listening for a few months on the internet. I have gotten a new Logitech Squeezebox WiFi Internet Radio. I have tried to tune it to several of your network stations and have had no luck. Is it possible to listen to you on an internet WiFi radio? Thanks and keep mup the good work, Tom Ludwiczak Garden City, Long Island, NY.
Can’t wait for Uncle Ted !!!
Listening to the show.
Previously inspired by your show, I’ve taken to getting my hands on some books such as Self Defense Laws In All 50 States by Mitch and Evan Vilos. There are many others including the ATF’s own free publication. Listening to tonight’s show, I am reminded of the importance of being ‘correctly’ informed.
I was shocked that “case law” and “jury instructions” and “a lawyer’s arguments” can re-interpret the spirit of laws ‘as written.’
I had mistakenly thought that the law was the law and if my circumstances were identical to someone else’s I would have the same legal outcome. If a bureaucratic and/or legal protocol can be inconsistent in the application of law, how can we even begin to hope for level justice for the common man? And don’t for one second think that this slanted justice only occurs in cases involving guns. Therefore, politics does affect us all. Please, folks, let’s keep ourselves educated and wise.
It matters not whether one lives in New Jersey or not, we should all own and peruse/study books like this. A lack of justice in New Jersey is lack of justice for us all. So may I suggest that the next time one buys a $300 Taurus or a $2800 Baer, invest $15 to $40 in one of the many books that explain things in simple terms, preferably one that explores some case law and previous interpretations. Invesigate some online resources as well. Suddenly, that ‘minor’ bit of injustice 2000 miles away is not such a distant discussion.
I am sure there are many of your listeners that have done this already and do not need me to remind them.
Just a rant:
We see many gun related crimes reported on local
TV where I live and there is a common thread; it is almost always a crime commited by a convicted criminal, that is, someone with a prior record. How do these people get a gun and what are they doing on the street after a CONVICTION, comitting another gun related crime? I swear we treat criminals like crime is there job. “Oh, he’s a rapist, that’s what he does, he’s okay, that’s his job.” So that criminal seems to find ways inside the system to be out of jail, finding opportunities for more crime.
Hopeful suggestion: I know that your guests have more important things to talk about, but I’d love to hear more about guns. Maybe, just along the way, if it doesn’t have a negative impact on the issues being discussed, you could ask some guests what gun (singular) are they currently impressed with, having fun with, carrying, shooting, etc.
Good luck, please continue your work.
Here’s wishing everbody a happy, health and prosperous new year!!!
Love the show and listen every Sunday here near Detroit am/1400.

Reaction A: No refusal Drunk Driving checkpoints? I’m sorry, you guys must be mistaken. Oh, you must have been talking about Mexico, or having some European historical discussion about that dude Nostrodamus referred to as ‘Hister.’ Couldn’t be in my America. I visited a Communist country once and I saw a checkpoint…you must have your facts wrong.
Reaction B: Well, don’t you two disrespectful gentlemen know how many folks are killed and injured by drunk drivers every year? Why it must be in the billions (that’s billions with a ‘b’ as in ‘Bama). If just one person can be saved then it will be worth all the injustice, worth all the financial burden, worth all the ‘slings and arrows of outrageous fortune’ that those caught in those checkpoints must endure. If we can just save one, one I say, what a better world this will be.
Reaction C: (Breathlessly)Now I certainly will never support the death penalty because you never know when a mistake has been made and there might be an innocent man in jail. And I will never support mistreatment of prisoners because as humans, we all deserve to have a properly functioning TV with cable don’t we? But those caught up in these checkpoints, and those refusing to cooperate, they deserve to lose thousands of dollars defending themselves whether convicted or not. And it’s only right that they lose their license; they should never have put themselves in a position to have their vile breath stink of hops and vine, hanging out in bars and such, we all know better, they should know better as well. I drink at home like the responsible person I am, unless I’m in rehab, but even then if I sneak liquor in and drink, hey, I don’t drive.
Reaction D: Well, aren’t the no refusal checkpoints a good logical next step? You want to waste all the tax money, lobby money, and efforts that have already been put forth? What about all the revenue that’s being generated for the local agencies? Revenue being generated in a bad economy I might add. If we relax now it would be like admitting we were wrong to begin with. We might as well tell people there were already laws on the books to handle drunk drivers and our agenda should have been one of awareness and education and consensus rather than politics. This is just the natural, proper evolution of a great idea that’s helping mankind along.
Reaction E: You obviously lack the ability and intelligence to give proper weight to the relevant facts as I see th…er, as others see them.
Reaction F: Now listen carefully you two misfortunate trouble makers. We are just trying to take drunk drivers off the streets. And if we have to give up a molecule or two of freedom to do it, so be it. We are aligned to a single agenda and any erosion of rights caused by our efforts will not taint any other dimensions of your silly, little, gunpowder smelling lives. I could care less how many guns you own. Hell, I don’t care if you carry six or seven with you at a time. I’m fine with whatever you do as long as your guns are locked at all times; unless of course you’re at a legal gun range or an officer of the law asks to have them unlocked in a checkpoint.
And now a rant:
Impunity – exemption from punishment, penalty or loss.
I am trying to lose weight. I couldn’t possibly eat as much as I want and still lose weight. But if I could, if I could eat my favorite pizza all by myself and not have to suffer any penalty, I’d do it. Oh, maybe not at first, but I would eventually work my way into it. At first I’d be satisfied and full and that would be good enough. But eventually my appetite would increase, especially since there’s no consequence. “Incrementalization” would occur. As time went on, I’d be inclined to get away with a little more, then a little more than that, then a little more still…I could have dessert as well…no, I could have desserts…
Just a dream though. Nothing like that in reality, eh?
If the wisdom of allowing speed traps had been questioned years ago, before speed traps became common practice and part of everyday life, maybe simpler solutions would have prevailed and we would never have “cultivated our acceptance” of the modern day speed trap, which can now be just a camera on a traffic light.
I know if I was a city official or a police chief or such, and I could generate revenue by parking a couple of guys on a hill, I’d do that and worry about public service a little less. If I could get away with it and not have any backlash, I’d probably do it in a few more places. I bet if I did it in small steps, ‘incrementally’, maybe I could eventually just pull some officers out of the existing budget, create a new task force, name it with a catchy acronym, have a press conference to tell the folks that I’m doing this for the greater good, and I’m a hero. I’m sure to get re-elected. I’m damn sure to get a bigger budget. If I am operating with impunity, maybe someday I can just pull anyone over, maybe I could just have checkpoints and pull anyone I want, all for the greater good of course. Why, I could inch my way towards “checkpoints of impunity.”
My states DUI laws are horrible, strict, probably unfair, and definitely follow the local agenda as far as morals and drinking. I don’t drink so I should be able to assume these laws would never be used against me. The local news had several segments on all the wonderful checkpoints over the holiday season and the good they accomplished. I began to realize a checkpoint could have some impact on me whether I’m the nefarious drunkard or not. I mean, I could be pulled over for absolutely nothing. There have always been drunk driving laws. The lawbreakers are not going to follow a lax law or a strict law. Of course the stricter law is going to snare more folks by using that bigger loop. We did’t mass our resources to apply the laws we had, but we sure will pool those resources now that we have tougher laws. We can’t afford not to. There’s too much money, too many political objectives at stake. And it has so little to do with slowing down speeders or keeping drunk drivers off the road, which we are all for.
Does that line of thinking sound similar to the anti-gun rhetoric to anyone? “The dang criminals aren’t obeying the laws, they have guns. We must make it even harder to own and have guns so the criminals won’t have guns. Damn those pesky citizens that own guns that a criminal could steal. If a gun is stolen, we should prosecute that citizen along with the criminal who stole and used his gun. That’ll keep guns out of the hands of the criminals.” It just becomes a bigger loop and begins snaring more folks. You might have been innocent this morning but the interpretation of a law this afternoon can make you guilty tomorrow.
It’s not about guns is it? It’s not about checkpoints is it? It’s about the same goofy, over complicated, non-productive, budget sucking thinking being applied to everything in our lives by those in charge. When applied by any level of government, it scares logic and weakens freedom.
Freedom can be attacked from many fronts. Beware when a frontal assault is used as a distraction. Beware when flanked by the disguised agenda.
I’m so sorry about the length of this comment, but this tiny piece of ‘we the people’ happens to love his freedom.
Mark & Mark, We’re enjoying your show this evening, Great topics and guests, Keep up the Great work, I’m sending you and Email from my local gun range, please read the one on the training for Terrorist in York S.C. and other cities in the US.
this corruption at A.T.F. was also going on during the W. Bush administration, it did not just pop-up during Obama’s term. This group of renegade FED’s are also in C.I.A.(drugs) and A.T.F..A.T.F. agents have complained for years that the office in Arizona was only busting small-fry gun runners while not putting in the effort to bust these major players. Janet Napolitano has tried to get A.T.F. in AZ. to turn over files on some of these operations and A.T.F. has thus far refused, citing an opinion that there is not enough funding for them to cunduct proper surveilance and wiretapping of suspects. As soon as I heard this bull I new that that unit was corrupt. The U.S. attorney in AZ. is in cahoots with this criminal enterprise. Does any one believe that they are tracking 1000 guns? No! they are part of the illigal arms trade between the U.S. and Mexico.
Mark,
Please encourage all you listeners in Wisconsin to contact their State Senators for constitutional carry passage. With the democrats away now is the perfect time to bring this up.
Mark, Tell everyone in your listening audience to write their congressperson to vote for HR822 which would allow ccw holders to carry across state lines.
Thanks to Ted Nugent for posting this on Facebook! This is good stuff. Thanks for What your are doing!! Ted Nugent for
President!! Your in my Favorites File..
Hi Mark,
I listen to you each Sunday. After listening to you for several months I have a question for you.
I am a security guard with an unarmed DPSST card. I have my CCH for Oregon. Can I still carry when I am off duty but still in uniform going home?
Thank you,
Normalizing pathological behavior … sound like an apt description of liberaism !
Mark:
As a Licenced Carrier and a Commishioned Security Officer. Listning to that touchie feely individule makes me laugh. He or she dosn’t have a clue of what is going on. We conceled carriers in the State of Texas and Commisioned officers are taught to shoot to stop not to wound. A few years back a Nueces County Deputy Sherif was confrounted with a crazed individule with a Machetie on I37. The Deputy shot him 10 times and still didn’t kill him. The outrage by the touchy feely people in this County turned my stomach. Why did he have to shoot him 10 times it was very obivous to me the crazy guy didn’t respond to command and didn’t drop his weapon.
Ed In Nueces County
Mark: Gun free zones are just an open sign to here I am come ane get me. Also I never heard any thing about resinding federal legislation for carry on Federal reservations such as Forts Posts and Baces.
Ed in nueces County
When is someone going to tie Project Gunrunner to why this was really being allowed to take place? The concept that BATFE would allow 3700+ firearms to enter Mexico for the reasons of trying to follow the trail of illegally traded firearms is absurd on its face.
The real reasons are a lot deeper and stem from our Presidents inability to pass another “Assault Weapons” import ban and /or the Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty. He owes people in the anti-gun crowd and will need their money next November.
Sec State Hillary Clinton, AG and the President are all very aware that no new domestic firearms control legislation or international arms trade treaty could possibly be approved or ratified by the current congress…unless it could be shown that such an egregious situation existed that such legislation/treaty could not be ignored…or voted against.
So, how do you do this? You facilitate the movement of firearms into a war zone that exists on your own border. And when these guns start showing up at the scenes of mass homicides or shootouts with the police and the military you say; “See, we told you so. It is American guns fueling the drug war in Mexico. We have to stop this.” I mean heck, it’s only Mexicans getting killed, right? And drug trafficking Mexicans to boot, right. Or does it matter who gets hurt at all as long as it suits our end game goals.
Yet, no one seems to want to go out on a limb to say this. If you’re going to wait until the presidential “smoking gun” is discovered this whole story will be over.
This year, I used the refund of the interest free loan I give to the Federal Government, to celebrate year 100 of the 1911 .45 ACP.
My personal choice was the Remington 1911R1. I ordered it 7 weeks ago, and it finally arrived (Remington must be busy-great!)
It is a lovely thing. Nothing fancy, but it can shoot.
Mr Browning would be happy to have one on his hip.
I have been carrying in the Minneapolis area for just about three years … partly because I love guns and shooting and partly because this wonderful city which I have lived in for decades is becoming more dangerous … (I am getting older and less able to “fight my way out of trouble.”
To my great surprise, I was attacked in a tunnel about a year ago … by a young (estimated age 15) man … who rushed me from bebind … I believe intending to slam me into a metal door frame just to my right.
I heard his intake of breath and sound of his light coat as he rushed … and I did just as trained … stepped to the right at about 45 degrees and turned to face him. And this is my point … I drew not my Glock but a small fighting knife I wear on my belt just at the buckle. His eyes literally bugged out and he ran away …
I believe the second amendment also covers knives used to protect your life. I train with my pistol regularly AND with the knife — and believe the knife is quicker at bad breath range. The point of the knife is to reduce the assailants mobility allowing me to get away — “get off the X.”
Just an opinion.
just a comment on uncle ted’s views on open carry: if several people are carrying in a store and a bad guy does come in don’t you think he’ll give a second thought about even being there how do you pinpoint one person to shoot first if 12 or more are carrying open? this is the reason i would support open carry, just a thought
just a side note i also served in the military and am firmly rooted in tactical carry i can see teds point clearly if your the only person in a grocery carrying but with an open carry law what would be the chances of that happening? i would think not too much at least not where i live
No live feed that this time. Live your show.
Get on air here in NJ! More people need to hear about Americans who won’t lay down and die. NJ needs a CC Law in the worst way. I carry with out the law, better alive in court than dear in the ground.

Thats dead in the ground. I am a better shot than keyboard operator.
