Mark:
I had a day-dream your future bestselling guest with all the credentials is a woman. I hope it is(Governor Palin)!
That would be massive-free-thinking counter-PC.
And she’s beautiful on many levels.

Thanks

Rick Roe’s comment(December 6, 2009)on the Michelle Malkin article, “The War on Cops”, was a bit difficult to find. It’s a very good column. Here’s the direct link:

HI MARK I AM A RETIRED LEO IN NYC AND WOULD LIKE U TO TALK ABOUT BILL HR218 WHICH ALLOWS A RETIRED LEO TO CARRY A GUN THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY. I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR DETAIL ABOUT THE BILL AND IF THERER ARE ANY RESTRICTIONS THANK YOU
Howdy,
I’d be interested in hearing a podcast but I refuse to install IWhatever software and fool with IWhichever web sight just to get it.
Why not a simple link that I can right click/save to and be done with it?
Howdy DBlock,
I wish we could be everything to everyone but ALAS, that would be impossible. So if you don’t want to download Iwhatever and fool with Iwhichever and you simply want to be able to “right click”/save and be done with it, go ahead! That’s what the word “Download” means underneath each podcast hour. Simply “right click” it and put it where ever you want it…just don’t hurt yourself!
Mark:
Great show. Please take this as constructive. My work scheduled limits me to the podcasts.. Great! However, Many of your guests are weak of voice unlike your strong and booming voice. Sometimes I need to turn up the volume to hear them and then you come in really really loud. Please ask them to speak up! I don’t know if you have time to listen to the podcast yourself, you would understand the issue.
Thanks for a great program.
Mark, can you turn up your volumn on your podcast. I have no problem listening to any other podcast, your volumn is really low. I everything I can to get the volumn up but to no avail.
Thanks
Bob
Do you have any printed up sheets that I could display over at
the shooting range in Norcorss? Even a card with local station
number and time of broadcast. Put next to Georgia Carry material. We get a lot of traffic through the range.
Let’s have a super 2010 year.

Your link for the Brady Campaign web site is incorrect…..it takes you to:

It seems the file AAR-5-3-2009.mp3 is unavailable. I hope it is updated soon since I have a lot of listening to do to catch up with you.

Ah, the May 3rd file came up on the third try.

Tonights shown was spectacular…………especially the 2nd hour!!!! Excellent Show you have there sir!!
Have enjoyed the interview the Gabe about the AK.
Would enjoy hearing more about how to make it more accurate. Specifically his tests with Corbon DPX loads, reloads, heavy or light bullets and adding a scope – regular/scout style types and what works for mounts/quick release rings.
Great show, keep it real.
Slainte,

God Bless the USA and AAR!
Mark I would ask Ted about the future of a free American people and what he thinks we can do, if anything beyond acting on and for ourselves, to restore the founders of the United States vision of freedom in America.
This question is from frustration and acknowledges that our public education is perverted by a
‘non God’ education. (As you can see, articulation is not my strong point, but I am observant and aware.) We as a country have and are loosing what we started with 232 years ago. The nanny state, lack of responsible citizenry, a federal government taking a ‘bigger is best’ agenda (for over 100 years).
Ted, what , if anything, can we as concerned and law abiding citizens do beyond keeping ourselves well informed, voting, speaking openly, and proficiency with personal weapons? Thanks, John in Virginia
For Ted
I remember seeing you several times in Hastings, Mi. at the Cobra when you were with the Amboy Dukes. Alice Cooper was there several times and so was Ceazy Horse (Neil Young).
Hi Mark,
Heard your show for the first time a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Just a few words about the NRA and other gun rights organizations. Let me add this preface:
I am a LIFE member of both the NRA and GOA (Gun Owners of America). I became NRA LIFE before I became GOA LIFE. I will never, ever donate one cent to the NRA again. This is why.
During the last presidential election the NRA invited “all” the candidates to state their position on gun rights and firearms. Every candidate, that is, except THE ONE candidate whose support for the individual right to keep and bear arms was worth more, based on his track record, than all other Republican candidates put together: Ron Paul.
All of the candidates, except Ron Paul, were invited to speak before the NRA. When I inquired as to why Ron Paul did not speak before the NRA, I learned from Chris Cox’s office that Ron Paul was never invited ‘… because he had not contacted them.”
Seriously…. if I run an organization that purports to support the full rights embodied in the 2nd Amendment, and I was SERIOUS about preserving those rights, I would have sent a chartered limousine and helicopter to get Ron Paul to speak before the NRA. At the very least, his unbridled support of the 2nd amendment would have shamed all the other so-called supporters of of the 2nd amendment by revealing how squishy-soft they were compared to Paul’s unequivocal support of our right to keep and bear arms.
This wasn’t my first encounter with NRA politics; it goes back 15 years to many other battles where I learned that the NRA is much more concerned with keeping their cash flow coming in and remaining a major political player than they are with truly protecting, advocating and ADVANCING our rights. They will compromise gun owner’s rights (and they have, just check their track record!) whenever they feel they have enough political camouflage to get away with it. The GOA has never done this.
Just why would anyone from the NRA even be in the same room with someone from the Brady campaign anyway???
If anyone has any doubts about the ONE REAL gun rights advocacy organization in the U.S., just go to the GOA website and look for the comparison and analysis between the NRA’s positions and the GOA’s positions on various firearms issues. Simply put, there is not contest.
I hope anyone thinking of donating or supporting the NRA will seriously consider at least researching the differences in positions between these two organizations. If they do, I am certain they they will not contribute another penny to the NRA either.
I proudly support the one NO COMPROMISE gun rights organization in the America: The Gun Owners of America.

Wow! I’m new to this broadcast and website, and just getting into some of the information offered. You have another fan, and I will be sure to pass this along. I knew about it via the e-campfire Ted Nugent referred to. I am a member of that forum and tuned in- because it had been posted. I follow TN, along with Glenn Beck, Massad Ayoob ( which I heard will be there in a couple of weeks) and others to keep up with this stupid political circus and what we can do to keep our rights and freedoms from going down the toilet. I joined USCCA since this show and am excited to join in the fight to keep and bear arms as I am. God bless your mission. I know there are more men than women that carry, but I try to encourage other women to learn to protect themselves and always promote the second amendment.
Will be passing through your area in a couple of months. Son at Ft. Benning GA, gratuates April, then to be deployed. I pray for all the troops- the fight for freedom has just been made personal.
Sincerely
Indiana
Mark:
What about getting a station to cover Wyoming, the most gun-friendly state in the nation! Idaho Falls, Idaho should be an easy addition, and everyone this side of the Tetons can pick them up. Forget Jackson, as they are too damned liberal/progressive. You might also get your program in Star Valley, as we have an independent broadcaster on FM, 91.9, who also carries Glenn Beck in the mornings interspersed with mostly country-western and fifties music. Thanks for anything you can do.
Thanks Terry! We’re working on WY RIGHT NOW!
Check this out Mark.

I moved out of that northern hell hole 12 years ago….
Glad to have you in So. Florida. I have been listening to the show on the internet at WGN out of Georgia. Since I found you about eight months ago I’ve been telling all my friends about the show. Also, Delray is one word, not Del Ray. Keep up the good work as we have to get the word out.
The guest you had during the first hour, I think you called him Dave, when he was talking I could not hear him at all. The only one I could hear was you. I have no problem hearing any other podcasts I listen to. In December I asked that you turn up your volumn. I hear you and your commercials, but your guests are the ones I have trouble hearing.
Thanks
Bob
Mark, I’ve been listening to your broadcast ever since I learned of it in the USCCA magazine. GREAT SHOW! I have to listen to it on my computer as we don’t have a station near here that carries it.I usually listen to it the next day.See if you can get a station in Cleveland or Mansfield Ohio. Read your and Kathy’s book twice so far.Two buddies and I think it has alot of great info in it.Can’t wait to get out and do some shooting. All this snow has me ALGOREVATED (aggravted). I’m typing this with my trigger finger and it’s getting tired. Keep up the good work. Jim
Just found the show this evening. Cant wait to listen to podcast tomorrow and one on tuesday and so on till i’m caught up!!
hi mark when I saw this video it scared the heck out of me hope you have time to watch it attaching the link below…
http://www.ignatius-piazza-front-sight.com/2010/01/11/ignatius-piazza-this-will-enrage-you/
on open carry all citizens are required to know the law and there are no excuses or we pay the consequences. so I don’t think it’s asking too much for law enforcement to know the law on open carry. Something I think about is a decision when to present a weapon or to shoot or not to shoot. this decision is pretty easy to make if your attacker has a weapon. ((but)) if he or they don’t have a weapon and they are pursuing you. you know once they get within arms length you have to make a decision. If they get any closer they is a good chance your weapon will become their weapon. (who is the best fighter). trying to fight with one hand and protecting your firearm with your other hand. (how big is he) (how old is he) all these things have a big difference on the outcome. it is So easy to make this decision if he has a weapon but if he or they don’t have a weapon to me that would be the hardest decision when to present your weapon. They say if you’re being choked or beaten very badly then you would be able to consider that deadly force against you. and then you can use deadly force against them. but at this point as they are beating you or choking you. you may not be able to have access to your weapon. Or they might have your weapon by now.
Open carry versus concealed carry my opinion is concealed carry is much better ((providing)) more people are concealed carriers. going back to that restaurant that had a group of bad guys outside and one scout checking things out inside yes he made the decision not to go in to rob this place based on visually seeing firearms.. but how different would it be if five people out of every 10 people were a Concealed carrier. then those bad guys wouldn’t have to send in a lookout to see if there is any opposing weapons in the building that could be used against them in a robbery. They would already know just about any building they go into half the people there would be a threat to them knowing the law-abiding citizens have plenty of firepower to use against them. It should be publicized by the percent ratio in that state that many citizens are carriers of concealed firearms. And those bad guys may change their criminal careers to something a little less dangerous. I think you’ll find in most states that have a concealed carry permit available to the public in less you are a person that is interested in firearms I think you’ll find that most people are completely unaware that there are citizens possibly standing beside them that can help protect them and their families if need be. I am sure that the people that were eating in that restaurant were thankful to those citizens who believed in their rights to bear arms to protect.
And how do you open carry in cold weather wen you’re wearing a heavy coat or any jacket that goes past your waistline without looking ridiculous ?.
I am attaching another good video to watch if you have the time

Sensible Gun Registration Plan That Will Work
Vermont State Rep. Fred Maslack has read the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, as well as Vermont ’s own Constitution very carefully, and his strict interpretation of these documents is popping some eyeballs in New England and elsewhere.
Maslack recently proposed a bill to register “non-gun-owners” and require them to pay a $500 fee to the state. Thus Vermont would become the first state to require a permit for the luxury of going about unarmed and assess a fee of $500 for the privilege of not owning a gun.
Maslack read the “militia” phrase of the Second Amendment as not only affirming the right of the individual citizen to bear arms, but as a clear mandate to do so. He believes that universal gun ownership was advocated by the Framers of the Constitution as an antidote to a “monopoly of force” by the government as well as criminals. Vermont ’s constitution states explicitly that “the people have a right to bear arms for the defense of themselves and the State” and those persons who are “conscientiously scrupulous of bearing arms” shall be required to “pay such equivalent.” Clearly, says Maslack, Vermonters have a constitutional obligation to arm themselves, so that they are capable of responding to “any situation that may arise.”
Under the bill, adults who choose not to own a firearm would be required to register their name, address, Social Security Number, and driver’s license number with the state. “There is a legitimate government interest in knowing who is not prepared to defend the state should they be asked to do so,” Maslack says Vermont already boasts a high rate of gun ownership along with the least restrictive laws of any state .. it’s currently the only state that allows a citizen to carry a concealed firearm without a permit. This combination of plenty of guns and few laws regulating them has resulted in a crime rate that is the third lowest in the nation.
“America is at that awkward stage. It’s too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards.”
This makes sense! There is no reason why gun owners should have to pay taxes to support police protection for people not wanting to own guns. Let them contribute their fair share and pay their own way.
——————————————————————————–
Hi Mark,
I’ve been listening to your show for several weeks and it’s pretty good. I’d like it if you spent more time talking about guns and gun accessories and a little less time talking about political developments important as they may be.
Something that bothers me imagine living in a state and there is some kind of a natural disaster whether it be a hurricane earthquake or even a man-made disaster and the state declares a state of emergency and you are ordered to leave your house or if your house is no longer suitable to live in because of damage. so many people and their families packing up what they can carry and you might not even have transportation or a place to sleep until the authorities have figured out what to do with you and we all know how long this might take. and once the state declares a state of emergency no citizen is allowed to carry any type of firearm or weapon out of the house in a state of emergency.it is a misdemeanor in a lot of states. So I guess once they declare a state of emergency all people are presumed guilty until proven innocent. I could not imagine leaving my house under the circumstances when people will be at their worst stealing what they can from other people and not be able to protect myself and my family. I think you’ll find most people are not even aware of this lore on the books
The Sheriffs First project promoted by Mr. Marbut is a bad idea because the Sheriffs already have the power to stop unconstitutional lawlessness in their respective counties. So if this bill fails, the sheriffs will be able to use that as an excuse to do nothing – to say my hands are tied.
This bill is dangerous. Mr. Marbut does not understand the Sheriff’s authority. It would serve him well to read The County Sheriff – America’s Last Hope by Sheriff Richard Mack. I have been in contact with Sheriff Mack and he is absolutely against this Sheriff’s First bill. In fact, he’s tried talking to these guys until he’s blue in the face.
April 25th, 26th and 27th
Richard Mack, former sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, and long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights, will be in Grants Pass, Oregon to conduct a 3 day series of classes.
On April 25th Sheriff Mack will be giving a public presentation. On April 26th and 27th he will be teaching a series of classes for law enforcement personnel only.
The sheriff will be teaching the proper constitutional role of Law enforcement, including:•
What rights does the constitution actually guarantee?
• Why is it important that we not allow our means of self defense be taken from us?
• What are the dangers of giving government too much power?
• What can we do to remain strong as individuals and families, so that we can remain strong as a nation?
• What can the Sheriff do to protect us from all enemies, both foreign and domestic?
There is a cost to attend, and it is highly recommended that you RSVP to reserve a seat.
This is a 5+ county event; with sheriffs from 5 counties being invited (Jackson, Josephine, Coos, Curry, and Douglas). Grant county sheriff Glen Palmer will be in attendance as well.
Josephine county sheriff Gil Gilbertson is hosting the event.
Loma Wharton, Coordinator for the “CONSTITUTIONAL SHERIFFS ASSOCIATION” Is heading up the event, her phone number is 541-430-0894.

RE: April 4, 2010 Show
Mark,
I enjoyed your conversation about ways to carry during the summer. I have to agree the Cross Breed holsters are AMAZING!!! Having owned one for the past three months it is my primary carry holster. I would have to also recommend ThunderWear. It is sort of a fanny pack that you wear under your shorts or pants. When I am wearing shorts that I can’t wear a belt, I find ThunderWear a great option. I know this won’t allow for carry a full size firearm, but I find useful for my Kahr CW9. I find the CW9 is not much bigger than many newer .380, but it is a 9mm.
I enjoyed your comments about the Chinese not invading the U.S. Have you ever seen the movie “Red Dawn”. It is an old 80’s movie about a group of kids that prevent the invasion of Russian’s. I have heard a rumor that they are reduing this movie with the exception the Chinese are invading the U.S.
Keep up the great work!!!
Mark, I love your show and havent missed a minute, however I am not able to listen to it live, and after a few times listening to it directly from the web site I find myself fast forwarding it past the advertising just because it is the same ads every show, (cross breed, got it, USCCA, get it, and so on). I know you have to have the ads to pay for the air time but, I also think if you had a tab on your web site for us listeners (like me) to be able to donate to your show, and cause, you could reduce your ad time and increase the talk time, many listeners would donate. I am a member of just about every pro gun group there is and would be more than willing to donate, generously! I know you are still in the infant stages of this radio show and if there is anything I can do to help please feel free to contact me via email.
Hi Mark. I have a situation. I currently have 2 jobs that are pistol-free zones and I have a cpl. Could address this situation of a person wanting to be armed but having to spend most of his or her day in pistol-free zones on your show?
Hey Mark, sense you always give good quotes about being armed on your show, I want to contribute one:
“Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the act of depriving a whole nation of arms, as the blackest”.
Mahatma Ghandi
Iam former USMC 7years, ANG 17 years,
On a recent show you wanted to know about CCW laws that do not make sence.
Arkansas law ACA 5-73-206
(16) Any church or other place of worship
14) Any school, college, community college, or university campus building or event, unless for the purpose of participating in an authorized firearms-related activity

(18) Any place where a parade or demonstration requiring a permit is being held, and the licensee is a participant in the parade or demonstration; or(This is stupid. could not carry during a 2nd amendment rally. that would have been the safest place in the city.
Hi Mark. I play poker on sunday nights, and would like to listen to your show on my Motorola Droid. Do you know how I can accomplish that. Thanks alot.
Hi Mark and all the wise ones at the Round Table:
Thanks so much for your input regarding the .380’s. After your conversation I went to the range and did some shooting and spoke to one of the great people that work there and she actually suggested that I visit another range that has a plentiful variety of handguns that I could rent and shoot before making a final decision.
I so appreciate all of the collective experience and wisdom that you share with us.
God Bless You, and thank you.
