Mark…great show, I catch you every sunday like clockwork!
I have a question that really should be looked at more like a concern.
Okay, first Ill say that I am a graduate of criminal justice, looking to become a law enforcement officer in my state…so thats my backround, oh and I am a fellow gun nut, if it goes bang, puts a hole in flesh, or blows up, I love it!
So here is my concern, everybody always focuses on the school shootings, the theatre shooting in Colorado, and the alleged crazies that buy a gun for the apparant purpose of mass killings…Tell me, why is it that nobody ever brings up the facts in cases where a simple homeowner’s guns were stolen by a burglar…why is it that nobody has ever or dared to ever bring up the fact that even though the law abiding citizen is being punished for the indiscretions of a criminals usage or choice of weapon, the facts are never discussed that criminals will always have a means to aquire a gun…
Look, dirtbag A knows that his neighbor is unarmed, and recently sold all of his guns to a dealer…maybe dirtbag A is also a gang member…but he knows a guy, who knows a guy who sells “black market” guns out of the trunk of his car in a back alley on the darkest nights of a week. The reason why the neighbor is unarmed is the govt stepped in and said “guns are bad get rid of them”
So dirtbag A buys a 357 Smith and Wesson from the black market dealer’s trunk, loads it and decides to kill the neighbor, and the family, and steal anything of value..
Whats the lesson here? I say its the UGLY fact that no matter what laws are put into place, no matter what restrictions are put onto law abiding citizens….the criminal will always bend and break the laws because thats what the criminal is…a law breaker! Am I right?
Tell me, but how does enacting tougher and stricter gun laws keep the criminal who doesnt even care about LAWs or the legal system from getting their hands on a gun and using it in illegal ways?
Tell me, how is enacting more laws of any kind keep the dishonest citizen from committing crimes?
If its the law abiding citizen that is doing the crime, he/she is no longer law abiding, correct?
Lastly, if the govt thinks passing tougher gun laws on law abiding citizens will stop the killings…..then that means that the govt thinks that all citizens are law abiding….right, if thats the case, why are there jails and prisons? Why are there thousands of poeple in those jails and prisons? and why the hell would we need cops and law enforcment officers if everybody is so well behaved and law abiding?
Im telling you that making things harder on the law abiding citizen, will only make things easier for the criminal.
Our govt, Diane Feinstein, Biden, Obama, and anyone else are so blind that they cant even see that all they are doing is medically treating the symtoms of the disease, not the disease itself!
When you treat for AIDS, your only treating its symptoms and making the person comfortable while they wait to die….when you make guns tougher to buy, or legally use, you are telling the criminal that its okay to hit their victem, cause the victem cant hit back…
its like the old saying that a girl can hit you but you cant hit her back….
Anyway, Ill shut up now…
Talk to you later!
Recently president Obama said that if we can save just one life we must enact his GUN CONTROL AGENDA, to save just one life.
The hypocrisy is astounding, the federal government supports the Planed parenthood organization. This organized killing machine has killed 329,445 children in 2010 alone.
This president has the audacity to stand on a stage and use these children as an example of how the Sandyhook victims might have looked had they lived.

Their true agenda is to disarm America.
Nothing president Obama said he wants to do would have prevented Sandyhook or saved one child, but does further his anti gun agenda.

This is an attack on our freedom, there is no debate on the second amendment, the founding fathers new what was needed to ensure Liberty and it wasn’t gun control !
I find it interesting the number of people who refer to assault rifles needing to be banned. It is plainly obvious that these individuals do not have a clue to what an assault rifle is! If they did they would know that assault rifles are already restricted and require a specific permit for anyone other than military to be in possession of according to laws already on the books. So the next time you hear someone talking about assault rifles ask them to give you the definition. As you are well aware in order for a rifle to be classified as an assault rifle it must be selective fire and capable of firing in the full automatic condition as well as burst fire and single fire, regardless of the magazine capacity. These are real assault weapons, an example would be the M-16. An Ar-15 would not qualify as is is incapable of selective fire and is restricted to single auto fire. Interesting isn’t it! Know the difference between BS and reality!
i went to get tires from my local goodyear seems they are against guns sign on the door no ccw weapons allowed i didnt go in there loss of 800 and more o wrote goodyear too this the reply
thanks robert
Thank you for contacting our web site and for voicing your concerns. In an
effort to ensure the safety and security of our associates and customers,
we have a clear company policy regarding weapons in the workplace. The
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. prohibits all persons who enter Company
property from carrying a handgun, firearm, or prohibited weapon of any kind
onto the property regardless of whether the person is licensed to carry the
weapon or not. Exceptions apply to on-duty law enforcement personnel.
This policy applies to all Company employees, visitors, customers, and
contractors on Company property — including our Company-owned stores.
All Company properties have received a decal or sign referencing this
policy, and have been instructed to post it.
Amazing success with the ‘Guns Across America’ rally today! Huge round of applause to each and every organizer, espically Eric Reed! Justin Guinn reporting from Oklahoma City.. I was actually among the first to arrive, mainly due to the anticipation over the last 8-10 days! Huge turnout in OKC… 2000+ people!
Keep doing what your doing gents! We’ve got Oklahoma locked down! God bless America, God Bless the Bill Of Rights!
Thank you Father for the day you have given us during these crucial times! -Amen!
Yes, even New York had a gun Rally this past weekend in Albany, the state capitol. The mayor of our small upstate city even spoke. Here’s the link…. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEU1fQlaDmw&sns=em
Mark,
I keep hearing in the media how “polls show 50% (or more, up to 70) approve more thorough background checks”
Where is this data really coming from? What question are they asking to get such a positive answer? Do gun owners realize that this is the precurser to 100% registration? Then comes confiscation….
Just wanted your thoughts. Love the show. I listen to the podcast during the week.
I just took a poll on newsmax.com. Here are the results shown after answering the questions. If these numbers are accurate, I’m proud of the Americans who have been involved in educating those who just did not “get it” before.
Should the federal government regulate guns of any type?
Yes, it should183,168(28%)
No, it should not470,940(71%)
Should Congress ban semi-automatic weapons?
Yes, it should145,411(22%)
No, it should not511,344(77%)
If Congress does not act, should President Obama use an executive order to ban or strictly control the sale of semi-automatic weapons?
Yes, he should131,629(20%)
No, he should not524,314(79%)
Do you agree that the Second Amendment gives citizens the right to own and bear guns without infringement?
Yes, I agree537,055(81%)
After staying up on all the news articles over gun crimes why can’t Obama and all the reform Politian’s see the real problem and cure. Triple the penalty for crimes where a weapon is used and simplify the law so no shyster could get them off with a technicality. An honest citizen may save several lives if needed and a criminal will take them. God Bless all the Honest Citizens of America who can make a difference.
Thank you for contacting me about policy proposals that seek to reduce gun violence in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown.
I am a hunter and have always owned guns, and I support the Second Amendment.
But assault weapons such as AK 47s are intended for killing, not hunting.
Solutions for reducing gun violence must address many areas, from protecting law enforcement and keeping weapons out of the hands of criminals, to school safety, access to mental health services, and confronting a culture that sometimes glorifies violence.
I support reinstating the assault weapons ban and restoring the 10-round limit for ammunition magazines. And, I support universal background checks so that we can know if person buying a weapon has a criminal record.
I appreciate hearing your views on this very important issue, and I will keep them in mind. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future.
Sincerely,
Bill Nelson

Just started listening to the show about a month ago and really enjoy it! Especially when you refer to the marxist in our country as “koolaid drinking, crap sandwhich eaters!”
We need to think about the what the ulterior motives are of finstein’s gun ban bill are. Some suggestions I’ve heard are creating “activist fatige” for future engagements and Prezzi Hussein using the defeat of finstein’s (no respect intended for this piece of work) gun ban bill and his exec. actions as means to demonize the republican party for 2014 and eventually destroy the party.
I wish someone would address the largest gun free zone(s) in the country. The US Postal service offices and their associated parkinglots (public or not). It is even illegal to bring anything on this property that can be used as a weapon. This includes scisors, pocket knives, baseball bats. The law is extreamly broad. In my state, Maine, much of the state capitol is a gun free zone.
Even though the state constitution appears to prohibit such as well as the US constitution. We’ve allowed the legislatures to get away with ignoring the constitution way too long. They all swear to uphold it then promptly break that vow.
I listen to the show on archives every week. Thanks.
I am a high school teacher in PA and teach in a “gun free school”. I have been sharing this perspective any time (which is often) I am in a conversation about the Sandy Hook killings.
If an armed mad man comes into our building and starts killing kids, our plan of action is to have me go over and lock my door and wait for the police. In the meantime I will be faced with the following decision. I can sit there and listen to kids begging for their lives while a wild animal systematically slaughters them or I can leave the room and try to stop the killer. Even if I can’t hear the cries of the kids I will hear them in my mind with every shot that is fired, If I choose to go help I know it is very likely that I will die.
Either option is utterly unacceptable. Therefore we MUST have people in all schools who are trained and equipped to STOP the killing. We should not have to wait. I never want to have to make the decision to listen to such horror or go face to face with an armed killer while I am unarmed. If we are attacked tomorrow I hope I will choose the latter but I am truly not looking forward to dying at the age of 48 as I am happily married and the father of three children of which one attends the school where I teach. I know I will go out that door and do my best to stop the killer.
It enrages me that the same people (our federal government) that force me to be in this situation while they are protected with trained people armed with mp-5s, ARs, and 17 round magazines. Yet we are told to disarm as citizens to be more safe as a solution? This is crazy!
We need people in our schools trained and equipped to stop the killing period! That is the only solution. I am committed to having our government change their course of action. Again I share this scenario with everyone I talk to.
Comment regarding jay bookman and the article he wrote. He should read Julia Gorin’s Jewish World Review article, The Anti-gun Male. It starts out, “LET’S be honest. He’s scared of the thing. That’s understandable–so am I. But as a girl I have the luxury of being able to admit it. I don’t have to masquerade squeamishness as grand principle-in the interest of mankind, no less.
Speaking of rights, can the right give a common sense response to this idea/question: does a citizen have the right to go out in public without fear about violence perpetrated with guns? I mean short of every citizen being armed to the teeth?
Please head to the where to listen page here on the site and listen live …AAR is coming to Terre Haute in March!! in the meantime, visit http://www.talk920.com to listen live or put the wgka app on your phone.
Great show, Mark. Have you talked yet about the Feb. 8th rallies at state capitols? I would recommend you mention this, and have some folks to discuss their impending participation in this. I am assisting with the rally at the Georgia state capitol in Atlanta that day. Thanks!
What a great name for a radio show(and/or for that matter, TV show. I’d love to see congressional circular firing squads!). It’s
about time for a program of this kind. I try not to miss a single one.
Hey, I’ve Got an IDEA! There should be a conservativen radio and/or TV show on each and every one of the Constitutional amendments; then air them all on Sunday in consecutive order (When most folks are already home, instead of skewed left, back slapping Meet the [Alledged] Press, etc.). Start a Network: Call it the U.S. American Constitutiional Network (USACN). Any Takers? Any Backers?
Thanks again for your show, keep it up. As long as we’ve got such a Radicaly Leftist President, and screwed up congress, We’re already on that awful greasy slippery slope.
Sincerely,John M. Nielsen, Proudly Conservative Naturalized (1958) American Citizen, and I proudly listen to Armed American Radio on WSIC, Statesville, North Carolina, 28677, U.S.A.
P.S. Armed American Radio would be the first one aired in living red, white and blue color! That is my support all the way.
Heroine, cocaine, etc., all totally illegal and banned. You can get these in any major city in the U.S. if you make a connection to those who have them. ( try the local high school or community college) It won’t be any different with guns. It will most likely increase the acccess to fully automatic AK weapons. Perhaps this is the incentive for the Obama cabal. The flow from Mexico will certainly profit their buddies down to the South.

For those afraid to go out for fear of gun violence do you think it that much different in places like Mexico or other countries where private ownership of guns is almost totally restricted? At least you now have the option to get what you need to attempt to protect yourself. Maybe they can fix things by passing a law banning evil intent.
If every time criminals break an existing law against ______, we pass 10 more laws against _______, the criminals will surely become annoyed at having so many laws on the books about _____. This annoyance will eventaully deepen and inevitably drive them to turn themselves in, and give up their life of crime. It’s a win win for all of us.
Hmmm, okay, I can see the logic doesn’t follow so good when written out like that, some ideas need the spoken word:
“Just listen to the sound of my common sense voice, as it rhythmically ebbs and flows with common sense, you are getting sleepy with common sense, if we end up only saving a library book it will be worth it, sleepier, critical thinking skills are overrated, sleep, Bobs Schaeffer and Costas are heroes, Mark and Shaun are villainous, they hang out with Ogres that are Mad, Peirs Morgan cares more about America than Rob Pincus , Mexico needs our anti-gun laws to stop their bloodshed, sleepier, Chicago’s crime exists because gun laws in Texas aren’t strict enough, believe, believe….zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.”
I think you are wrong about the feinstein bill.. I think it WILL PASS, i will tell you my theory. Tte reason why the bill will pass is because they know it wont affect re election because the elections are totally rigged. All of their chess pieces are in place now , that is why they are making their final push for disarmament. That is why all these rediculous bills have been passing such as ndaa, nrpa, patriot, etc. They have all tgeir pawns in place in govt. And the gloves are coming off now because they think they are untouchable. The bill will pass with flying colors, you watch
Hey Mark and Seanto, WHOOA! Another great show. Just a couple of quick comments if I may. I find it ‘interesting’ that all these Dem women are saying that women can’t handle ‘assault (sporting) rifles’ yet are all for women in the infantry, which uses REAL assault rifles (which women soldiers use just fine now). Guess they wanna issue them bolt action .22′s!! I also listen to alot of shows, yours, Teri O’Brien, Freedoms Wings, etc, and have noticed their all having difficulities with their phones and e-mail providers. My tin foil hat bretheren might suspect the FCC? Naw, the dear leader wouldn’t ‘target’ the oppisition like that would he? And finally, a small complaint-you need….A 4TH HOUR!!!
Show finishes before I finish my coffee. Keep up the good work, your on track.

Since you seem so willing to challange people like Shumer, Feinstein, Pelosi, etc, why aren’t you willing to have ME on your program to debate whether or not to return “rights”, (which CAN’T be taken away to begin with), to former Felons like me? Aren’t MY “rights” just as important as YOUR “rights” or are all these so-called “rights” just petty little “government-granted” priviliges that can be taken away from ANYONE just by calling them a name???
75,000,000 former “Felons” robbed nobody yesterday.
I keep re-reading John Weeks’ post on Jan 25 where he shares the response from Sen. Bill Nelson. It is a good lesson in how the current anti-gun movement is being conducted.
“policy proposals that seek to reduce gun violence in the wake of the tragedy in Newtown”
————————————-
-this is how the liberals and the media are couching this. It’s not ‘reduce crime’, it’s ‘reduce gun violence.’ Mark’s program has addressed this so thoroughly, both directly and indirectly, that we should all be heads up to this act.
“Solutions for reducing gun violence must address many areas, from protecting law enforcement and keeping weapons out of the hands of criminals, to school safety, access to mental health services, and confronting a culture that sometimes glorifies violence.”
———————————————-
-it’s what doesn’t get said that is telling. He does not say that solutions need to address the area of constitutional rights, nor self defense, nor defense of our country against all enemies foreign and domestic. This tells us what ‘PROBLEM’ they are really trying to solve. The problem as they define it is that we citizens have guns.
“But assault weapons such as AK 47s are intended for killing, not hunting.”
-his statement regarding an AK47 says it all. The police can have them or an equivalent because they might have to kill someone, but in his mind a citizen has no need to own a ‘weapon.’ Also, take note he avoids using ‘AR.’ Is he saying that he only wants to ban AK47′s? Since he’s a hunter he must know hunters use AR’s. Think he’s saying AR’s are okay and AK’s are not, or do you think he used some misdirection and ‘such as’ is going to include yet to be determined classes of firearms? Wasn’t there some used car sales pyramid concept where you start far apart at the base, but get the shopper to agree on the tiniest of things, and you get closer and closer through the action of agreeing until you meet at the top of the pyramid and then they go for the sale?
Nelson wants a ‘universal’ background check. We already have a background check to keep guns out of the wrong hands, at least where I live we do. Note that he “does not say” he wants stronger enforcement for the current background check. And watch the word ‘universal.’ Bet there’s an expanding definition planned for that one.
I hope we are not getting put to sleep by the mainstream media and the political rhetoric.
Right now, the liberals have the better marketing plan. They are winning the war of the spinning, reactive words that sell their agenda. Senator Nelson’s letter is a specific example of a larger tact.
Politicians are experts at half-truths, and what ‘does not get said, what gets left out’ needs as much scrutiny as what is said.
Another Example:
On every recent show now, AAR plays the Obama clip where B.O. says he’s not going to take away guns. But does anybody think that he’s saying he’s not going to pass a law to make all forms of carry illegal? That he’s not going to pass a law saying all firearms must have a trigger lock on them unless you are at an approved range? Did he say he was going to let you have any bullets for the guns you own? In this clip he ‘does not’ say, “I couldn’t take away your guns even if I wanted to” does he? I hear him saying that he’s not going to take away guns with his power. I don’t hear him saying he doesn’t have that power or that right.
Thank you Mr. Weeks for sharing the response. I think I’ll send another set of letters to all my reps.
I found this video on youtube that goes over gun and weapon bans through history and what happens when the people are disarmed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B8qw3tEg9Vw
My first CCW weapon, a PA-63 9×18, was paid for via a gun buy program at TampaFL. The weapon I sold them was a P.O.S. WW II rifle that was to say the least, FUBAR, DOA, etc, etc. All salvageable parts were removed. I saw at least 6 other FFL holders there getting rid of JUNK too.
Thank you People’s Republik of Hillsboro County.
Caught your show last night on the way home from son’s house after half time on the game. I actually heard your interview with Mike Gallagaher last week Thursday and discovered what you have been up to the last few years. Interesting progression, my friend. Enjoyed your show. I’m on the band wagon. You cannot be too vigilant!
Mark it was great to meet you at Gander Mountain in Lakeville Mn and have my one of a kind “special” copy of your book signed by you. Still can’t believe they made us check the guns at the door.
One of my sons introduced me (on you tube) to a young girl who shoots 3-gun around the country. Her name is Katelyn Francis and she kiks butt! Oh! She is 13 years old and very impressive shooting. You should check her out and maybe have her on your show.
I went to supportsecondamendment.com to sign the petition, but there is no petition there. There is text about the aims of the petition and that it will be delivered to Congress, but there is literally nothing in terms of a demand, a statement to agree with, or anything that would be called a petition. I don’t know if this is a website glitch or what, but I wanted to let you know about it. I am sure it is depressing the numbers tremendously; I cannot sign a petition without knowing what it says, and I’m sure many others feel similarly.
I’m listening to the podcast of the 2/11 show. In the second hour Rob Pincus was telling a story about the military individual whom he challenged on his defensive ability to use a firearm. He states that the individual insisted that what the military taught him was training. I too have military training with firearms, eight years to be exact. Unless one is in the more elite of the fighting forces, what little handgun training a recruit got in basic, or the M16 training he or she gets is not what is considered “defensive training.” As I said I served four years Army Infantry and four years Marine Air and I too thought I was “trained.” One Christmas night 1989 I was in a confrontation in a small store parking lot where I had to draw my firearm. It ended when the two guys took off running after seeing the pistol so I just went home, no one got shot, no police were called. Before I got out of my car I realized I had been sitting there for at least ten minutes before I saw I still had the pistol in my hand. Looking at it I saw that the safety was still engaged. I never disengaged the safety! Had the two not taken off running, in my deer in the headlights moment, I could have been hurt because the best I could have done was hit them with the inert pistol in my hand. Maybe I would have realized it, maybe not. Bottom line, I thought about that for a few months before I decided to make it my mission in life to get as much “defensive training” as my wallet and body can afford.
In closing I can attest to what Rob Pincus was saying in that segment of the show, and use my experience as an example in my own firearms instruction courses. Rob Pincus is exactly right, no matter how much military time you have learning how to assault a hill using squad tactics and maneuvers it is not the same as meeting the monsters in a dark parking lot.

Our future if we don’t stand our ground. Words from our friends in Australia .
Everyone watch what gun control will do to America.

Recently president Obama said that if we can save just one life we must enact his GUN CONTROL AGENDA, to save just one life.
The hypocrisy is astounding, the federal government supports the Planed parenthood organization. This organized killing machine has killed 329,445 children in 2010 alone.

Number of abortions (medical and surgical): 329,445
Total number of abortions per week: 6,33

Ratio of adoption referrals to abortions: 1 per 392

HMAX said it well:
Abortions killed 329,445 last year. Where’s the concern for the “children”.
Pure hypocrisy on the part of the President and left.
It is all about control, they know what is best for the rest of us.
I spent 30 years supporting and defending the Constitution, and will do so again if needed.
Thanks Mark for speaking on this issue – vital to our Country.

effort to ensure the safety and security of our associates and customers,
we have a clear company policy regarding weapons in the workplace. The
Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. prohibits all persons who enter Company

onto the property regardless of whether the person is licensed to carry the
weapon or not. Exceptions apply to on-duty law enforcement personnel.
This policy applies to all Company employees, visitors, customers, and
contractors on Company property — including our Company-owned stores.
All Company properties have received a decal or sign referencing this
policy, and have been instructed to post it.

Great show keep up the good work!!!! just got done with the petition thanks for the heads up =]
Yes, even New York had a gun Rally this past weekend in Albany, the state capitol. The mayor of our small upstate city even spoke. Here’s the link….

Keep up the good work.
P.S. Our county sheriff is also pro-gun.
Mark,
I keep hearing in the media how “polls show 50% (or more, up to 70) approve more thorough background checks”
Where is this data really coming from? What question are they asking to get such a positive answer? Do gun owners realize that this is the precurser to 100% registration? Then comes confiscation….
Just wanted your thoughts. Love the show. I listen to the podcast during the week.
What happened to hour 2 of 1-20-2013? I started and then quit. Hour 1 and 3 worked fine on the archived shows.
I just took a poll on newsmax.com. Here are the results shown after answering the questions. If these numbers are accurate, I’m proud of the Americans who have been involved in educating those who just did not “get it” before.

Mark,
Great show. Keep it up. I just received this from a friend you got to take a look at this video. http://www.secretsofthefed.com/troops-ordered-to-kill-all-americans-who-do-not-turn-in-guns-video/

Dear Mr. Weeks:
Sincerely,
Bill Nelson

THE PRICE OF SILENCE IS FREEDOM!
Mark,
Just started listening to the show about a month ago and really enjoy it!

Yours in freedom!

I wonder if Verizon Democrats are messing with your studio lines?
Thanks!

Ladies and Gentlemen of Armed American Radio,
What a great name for a radio show(and/or for that matter, TV show.

Guys, maybe Obama is onto something.

Remember Mark; God said if you don’t forgive, you WON’T be forgiven, and THAT sir, is a VERY dangerous position to be in on Judgment Day.

Hey Mark, are you ready to address those who are called the “F” word yet? 75,000,000 former Felons killed NOBODY yesterday…

Lol, in all actuality its a clip from the movie “history of the world”. But thought some people would find it interesting.

or will they!

Hey Mark,
Caught your show last night on the way home from son’s house after half time on the game. I actually heard your interview with Mike Gallagaher last week Thursday and discovered what you have been up to the last few years. Interesting progression, my friend. Enjoyed your show. I’m on the band wagon. You cannot be too vigilant!
Best regards,

Mark it was great to meet you at Gander Mountain in Lakeville Mn and have my one of a kind “special” copy of your book signed by you. Still can’t believe they made us check the guns at the door.
Thanks again

Hey Mark,
I like your comment from earlier, “Gun Owners Against Illegal Mayors”. We ought to start that for real!

Mark,
I’m listening to the podcast of the 2/11 show.
