Any info on when the 2-4-13 show podcast will be up?
Gun control it’s not about guns, it’s People Control.
Love AAR and the revamped USCCA rag, kudos. I’m curious why you let Director of Gander Mnt. Chris Juelich get away with his statement. “We try to stay out of the political game too much”. “We have to cater to EVERYBODY from the camper, to the hunters, to the fishers, to EVERYBODY”. When you asked if they were prepared for Obama’s attacks. Your response was “SURE”. Really? I’ll translate; “Come spend some money, but don’t ask Gander Mnt. to get involved. Last years theme at the NRA Convention was, All In! I’d like to ask Mr. Juelich & Gander Mnt. if they are ALL IN! Keep up the fight Mark.
In Washington state Rep. Mike Hope (44th LD) is cosponsoring HB1588. Hope is a Republican.
WOW!!! Another awesome show. Mark, you need a couple more hours each week. 3 hours just isn’t enough time for all there is to discuss on AAR. Shaun you’re awesome. When are we going to get a Dallas/Fort Worth affiliate?
I hope to meet you all when you come to the Gander Mountain Academy in Spring Texas.
Question. Our local AMC theater posted a “no weapons allowed” sign. I discussed this with a good friend, and I asked him how it was possible for them to blatantly deny our Constitutional rights under the Second Amendment. He told me AMC theaters were privately owned and as such they could deny firearms on their property. I then asked him if they could sell or not sell tickets to people based solely on their gender or race? He said they couldn’t discriminate in that manner because they are a public theater. I guess I don’t understand. Which is it private or public? Your thoughts?
Rumblings now about ‘mandatory’ liability insurance for guns. Is anyone else thinking this is an organzied flank attack to get registration? It’s going to create a database of gun owners isn’t it? I guess all those concealed carry permits do the same thing.I’ll bet they will want serial numbers, make, model, just like we do for car insurance, eh?
I feel this battle is difficult because of the media. Mainstream journalists are not reporting, but repeating; repeating selective language, selective content. The only way to not have a repetitive narrative loop through your brain like an overplayed radio song is to recognize and acknowledge it in the moment or turn it off. Otherwise, you risk becoming one of the numb and dumb zombies with broken logic.
Thank you Mark, thank you Seanto, for giving voice to the concerns of the American citizens that ‘use’ their intelligence and attention, and for counteracting the brainwashed stance of the ‘low information’ zombies.
Mark & Seanto:
Being FROM New York City; I wanted to know more about the history of the Sullivan Law(New York’s Gun Control), sponsors and reason for its origin. BTW, the law’s sponsor is “Big Tim Sullivan-Tammany Hall Democrat!!
I commenced my research and one of the first documents I pull up begins:
Big Tim Sullivan was a notorious Irish gangster whose mob controlled New York City south of 14th Street around the turn of the 20th century. Throwing in his lot with the likes of Monk Eastman, Paul Kelly and Arnold Rothstein, Sullivan became an expert on that dark nexus where organized crime and politics consummate their unholy alliance, and soon became an influential figure in the corrupt Democratic machine there known as Tammany Hall.
The rest of the article can be read at http://www.niagarafallsreporter.com/column357.html
This brings me to paragraph-8 (http://www.vpc.org/nrainfo/chapter1.html), NRA History: Chapter-1: “Soldiers to Lobbyist.” The passage begins:
As recalled in Americans and Their Guns, in a meeting with Wingate, Cornell made it clear that the NRA’s admiration for the “citizen-soldier” was not universal. “The only need for a National Guard,” said Cornell, “is to show itself in parades and ceremonies. I see no reason for them to learn to shoot if their only function will be to march a little through the streets.” When Wingate argued the need for marksmanship training, Cornell “roared” back, “then we should take their rifles away from them and sell them to benefit the Treasury. It would be more practical and far less expensive to arm them with clubs which require no instruction in their use.”
Today, “I guess adjusted for inflation,” we get Uncle Joey Biden!
“If you want to protect yourself, get a double barrel shotgun. Have the shells for a 12 gauge shotgun, and I promise you as I told my wife, we live in an area that’s wooded and somewhat secluded. I said, Jill if there’s ever problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out, put that double barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house. I promise you whoever’s coming in is not going, you don’t need an AR15. It’s harder to aim, it’s harder to use. And in fact, you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”
This year marks 100 years of this “crap!” We need to stand firm on our second amendment right and remember, the fight to keep it will be easier than the fight to get it back if it is infringed or lost!!
Thank you Mark Walters & Sean Young(Seanto) for bringing us Armed American Radio each week!
While I’m at it; another piece of pending legislation is Georgia House Bill HB394 that has me “frosted!” This gun bill (HB394), add all former and current General Assembly members to the exemption list, 16-11-130, as to where [they] can “carry.”
There is no limit to the arrogance of some of our elected representatives!! I wrote to my Georgia representatives and told them I expect to see a “NO” from them when this bill comes up for a vote!
Hack politicians exempting themselves from legislation of their making needs to be stopped right now at the grassroots!! Have you noticed, these hacks always exempt themselves from legislation that will create an undue burden on the constituencies? Human nature, how much thought is needed if you can just exempt yourself from the negative ramifications of the act?? Let’s start telling our representatives “NO,” you’ll live by the laws/regulations you create for us!!
When I first looked into HB394 I wanted to see who the sponsors were and how many Republicans were involved. To my dismay, six sponsors all Republicans!! http://www.legis.ga.gov/Legislation/en-US/display/20132014/HB/394
My thanks to (http://www.georgiacarry.org) for alerting us to this pending legislation.
The anti gun movement in the central government is not about safety or life and death of the poeple. That care nothing for our lives or deaths.
It is about power. By elliminating the TOOL that makes an average citizen more powerful reduces the power of the rulling ellite. The ellite have a fundamental need to be more powerful. The only way this can be accomplished once they are on the top is by making the bottom weaker. The fear the loss of their power.
The same applies to money (another tool). The ruling ellite are making themselves vastly more weathy by making the rest of us vastly poorer. This has been going on for years and is accelerating.
Eventually we (the people) will be pushed to such weakness and so poor we cannot afford food to live, the whole situation will suddenly and violently explode from simple desperation.
This has happened with every government in history. It is a natural and inevitable progression. I fear that we are quickly approaching that point and I suspect that nothing we do can stop it from happening but only slow the progression.
The hording of ammuntion and food ( I know many people that have large stores of canned food and ammo, average people you wouldn’t suspect) tells me to hunker down and expect the worst.
I hope I am proven wrong.
I do enjoy listening to the podcast while I’m at work in the largest arms free zone in the country. Keep up the message.
What’s the call-in number for the show?
I have heard reports of federal officers going to peoples homes with a lst of thier gun serial numbers & asking the person listed

The saddest part about Sandy Hook, (The Lost Lives). And the nuts who have highjacked it for their agenda… After
9-11 happened, We the people all pulled together to mourn the lost of life and for their family’s.
Our Nation was robbed of the mourning process because we are trying too damn hard defending our 2nd amendment rights… These people need to go away and stop trying to control our lives…, We didn’t kill anyone “Bloomberg” nor did we break any laws.
I just heard last weeks show on pod cast, near the end of hour 2, There is an AR-15 Rabbi version for sale. If you read the Bible amendments 1&2 are in the book of Queen Ester 8:11. Read the whole book of Ester for the first arms grab and aniahlation. 3,500 years ago.
Now you’ve done it.
I’ve just discovered your radio show, and I’m hooked.
Now, I have to listen to every archived show for as far back as I can.
Please keep up the good fight.
You’ve gotten >100k signatures on one petition. Maybe it’s time to create another petition to create posted, mobile “gun free zones” around the President, Vice President, Representatives, Senators, and their families and put the Secret Service to work elsewhere. There WAS a petition like that up on the Whitehouse’s site but it got insufficient signatures.
The new petition would allow the individuals and their families to carry concealed within THEIR gun free zone, but ONLY with magazines with a capacity of 7 rounds or less, and “assault weapons” would certainly be banned within their mobile gun free zones.
Announce it on the show and I will encourage ALL my friends to sign it
Listening from Salem Oregon on KYKN AM 1430. First time I have heard your show and this is fantastic, but how can you get the gun grabbing liberals to listen so they can hear the truth?
Can someone give me a link or tell me where I can find the survey that the anti-gun people have been throwing out there. I heard that it was from 1992 and would like to find it for use in arguements I have been having about it. Thanks.
It was a pleasure and honor to meet you, Rob Pincus, and Mike Martin at Gander Mountain in Lake Mary, Florida today. Thank you so much for your book, time, and continued efforts to preserve our precious civil liberties. Below please find the letter I told you I composed to the snakes that are the Board of Selectmen in Lexington Massachusetts, regarding our Brother(s) Stewart Rhodes, and The Oath Keepers. If it pleases you, I would like to send a post from time to time, to “keep my chops”.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am writing this missive to express my disappointment in your decision to revoke the permit to peacefully assemble on the Lexington Green, by one of the most Patriotic, (if not THE most Patriotic) organizations this country will know, the Oath Keepers.
As a former member of the military (and former resident of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts), although I was not able to attend the gathering, it refreshed my pride in, and sense of appreciation of my country, to learn that the assembly would be held on the most historic and hallowed ground this country shall ever know.
I never thought I would say that I am relieved my Father did not live long enough to see this day. You see, he was born in Lexington, and wore that fact like a badge of honor, on display to anyone he thought worthy of disseminating that information to. My Dad was a very generous, philanthropic, and kind spirited man, who loved his country, and the opportunities it afforded his family and him, dearly. It would have upset him greatly to discover that the place of his birth would disown the very spirit that begat the most beneficent society on God’s green Earth. He would be ashamed of your actions. I dare say that if he were alive, and living in Lexington, he would be tirelessly lobbying a challenge to your most unfortunate decision. He might even have insisted on the unseating of members of the Board. (If he wasn’t Chairman, in which case this travesty would not have been an issue.)
Aside from my personal perspective relative to my late Father, your duplicitous conduct does great disservice to ALL citizens of our great country, let alone the spirit, and memory of all of the living and fallen heroes in the history of our military serving this great experiment that is America.
I have learned that it is too late for your reconsideration, although apparently, no honorable consideration was intended in any sense of good faith, if you truly know what that phrase imparts.
You should be ashamed of your actions, to have not only turned your backs on the honorable, stalwart, and brave men and women who serve and/or have served The United States of America, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, from present day, all the way back to the establishment of OUR INDEPENDENCE, but to the legacy you have been blessed to bestow upon the future generations of America.
Strength in Honor,
Mr. Alfred E. Bresnahan Jr.

Just finished Chapter 1 of “Lessons from Armed America. Wow… just..Wow. God was with you that day. (along with many others, I’m sure.) Glad you survived to write this book. I’m very excited to continue on this learning journey, to paraphrase the good Capt. Ayoob.
I have noticed for quite a while now, you have stopped taking listeners phone calls. Why has this been discontinued?
Re: Bumper Music
Dear Mark & Shawn,
Could you please (at least once) use Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Gimme Back My Bullets” or “Saturday Night Special” for your bumper music?
Thank you for your show & the great information you provide.
I particularly like the advice you just gave re: TSA rules & keeping gun, mags, ammo, & all other arms-related stuff far removed from your carry-on luggage (plus checking & rechecking the carryon for absence of gun/mag/ammo & buying hardshell luggage for the arms).
It would be nice if you cut down on the commercials or at least scaled them back to firearms only related commercials. I know you have to pay bills but I listen to hear about guns and firearms and whats new in the industry, not Select Comfort beds.
More show, less garbage.
lets send john beoner a pink tu tu to wear when dances for presbo

The only commercials you hear from us re gun related..anything else you hear is not from us but from the local affiliate that runs the show…they own the break time and can run what they want , we own our break time and run what we want…sorry, can’t help ya there!
Wow what a great station. I always listen to talk radio
but was channel surfing and although your station comes in
weak in Venice Fl I now can get you on my computer.
Talk shows on Sunday are usually about vitamin pill pushers
or reruns of Rush.
This is refreshing.
Hey Mark. I really enjoy the AAR podcasts. No offense intended to the Zimmerman family, but with all due respect, I’ve heard enough of Robert Zimmerman for a while. Thanks.

After listening to the full three hours of your program “Armed American Radio” (AAR) on August 18th with your guest Alan Korwin, I got righteously angry.
During Mr. Korwin’s time on AAR he seemed to put a positive spin on the U.S. senate’s amnesty legislation (S. 744), to paraphrase the words of your guest, calling amnesty a potential business opportunity to the American gun industry.
Mr. Korwin, doesn’t seem realize or chooses not to realize who the people are that S. 744 might actually provide legal access to firearms; for example, Mexican drug cartel members or potential revolutionaries within our county’s borders.
If I understand Korwin’s views on the American gun industry correctly, the private sector gun industry could expand its business by selling guns and training persons with no criminal background history available on them — that’s a very bad idea.
I find it hard to believe Korwin has not taken into consideration the American gun industry equipping and training of persons with no criminal background history available on them has the potential consequences of Mexican drug cartel members and third world revolutionaries being empowered to return across America’s southern border to overthrow, for example, the Mexican government.
Haven’t the people of Mexico and the members of the American Border Patrol already suffered enough under U.S. Attorney General Eric Holders’ “gun walking” aka “fast and furious” scandal?
The consequences of Korwin’s mercenary world view on amnesty and the private gun industry benefiting from such an amnesty is a non-governmental “fast and furious” scandal in the making.
Mark, the “Armed American Radio” program providing a platform for Korwin to put a business opportunity spin for the American gun industry on the benefits of S. 744 is not why I listen to your radio program.

Wow, I remember Mark telling us about traveling on Planes with our Firearm which I found very informative and he said it is easy to make a mistake when traveling and how to do it properly by calling ahead to tell the airport you are traveling with a Firearm and properly storing your firearm with ammo and firearm in seperated cases. And now I just heard on Fox News that Ted Nugents wife just made that Mistake! I hope she doesn’t get prosecuted. But this is just a Big example of what Mark Walters was talking about.
