Love AAR and the revamped USCCA rag, kudos. I’m curious why you let Director of Gander Mnt. Chris Juelich get away with his statement. “We try to stay out of the political game too much”. “We have to cater to EVERYBODY from the camper, to the hunters, to the fishers, to EVERYBODY”. When you asked if they were prepared for Obama’s attacks. Your response was “SURE”. Really? I’ll translate; “Come spend some money, but don’t ask Gander Mnt. to get involved. Last years theme at the NRA Convention was, All In! I’d like to ask Mr. Juelich & Gander Mnt. if they are ALL IN! Keep up the fight Mark.
In Washington state Rep. Mike Hope (44th LD) is cosponsoring HB1588. Hope is a Republican.

Question. Our local AMC theater posted a “no weapons allowed” sign. I discussed this with a good friend, and I asked him how it was possible for them to blatantly deny our Constitutional rights under the Second Amendment. He told me AMC theaters were privately owned and as such they could deny firearms on their property. I then asked him if they could sell or not sell tickets to people based solely on their gender or race? He said they couldn’t discriminate in that manner because they are a public theater. I guess I don’t understand. Which is it private or public? Your thoughts?
Rumblings now about ‘mandatory’ liability insurance for guns. Is anyone else thinking this is an organzied flank attack to get registration? It’s going to create a database of gun owners isn’t it? I guess all those concealed carry permits do the same thing.I’ll bet they will want serial numbers, make, model, just like we do for car insurance, eh?
I feel this battle is difficult because of the media. Mainstream journalists are not reporting, but repeating; repeating selective language, selective content. The only way to not have a repetitive narrative loop through your brain like an overplayed radio song is to recognize and acknowledge it in the moment or turn it off. Otherwise, you risk becoming one of the numb and dumb zombies with broken logic.
Thank you Mark, thank you Seanto, for giving voice to the concerns of the American citizens that ‘use’ their intelligence and attention, and for counteracting the brainwashed stance of the ‘low information’ zombies.

Being FROM New York City; I wanted to know more about the history of the Sullivan Law(New York’s Gun Control), sponsors and reason for its origin. BTW, the law’s sponsor is “Big Tim Sullivan-Tammany Hall Democrat!!
I commenced my research and one of the first documents I pull up begins:
Big Tim Sullivan was a notorious Irish gangster whose mob controlled New York City south of 14th Street around the turn of the 20th century. Throwing in his lot with the likes of Monk Eastman, Paul Kelly and Arnold Rothstein, Sullivan became an expert on that dark nexus where organized crime and politics consummate their unholy alliance, and soon became an influential figure in the corrupt Democratic machine there known as Tammany Hall.

This brings me to paragraph-8 (http://www.vpc.org/nrainfo/chapter1.html), NRA History: Chapter-1: “Soldiers to Lobbyist.” The passage begins:
As recalled in Americans and Their Guns, in a meeting with Wingate, Cornell made it clear that the NRA’s admiration for the “citizen-soldier” was not universal. “The only need for a National Guard,” said Cornell, “is to show itself in parades and ceremonies. I see no reason for them to learn to shoot if their only function will be to march a little through the streets.” When Wingate argued the need for marksmanship training, Cornell “roared” back, “then we should take their rifles away from them and sell them to benefit the Treasury. It would be more practical and far less expensive to arm them with clubs which require no instruction in their use.”
Today, “I guess adjusted for inflation,” we get Uncle Joey Biden!
“If you want to protect yourself, get a double barrel shotgun. Have the shells for a 12 gauge shotgun, and I promise you as I told my wife, we live in an area that’s wooded and somewhat secluded. I said, Jill if there’s ever problem, just walk out on the balcony here, walk out, put that double barreled shotgun and fire two blasts outside the house. I promise you whoever’s coming in is not going, you don’t need an AR15. It’s harder to aim, it’s harder to use. And in fact, you don’t need 30 rounds to protect yourself. Buy a shotgun. Buy a shotgun.”
This year marks 100 years of this “crap!” We need to stand firm on our second amendment right and remember, the fight to keep it will be easier than the fight to get it back if it is infringed or lost!!

While I’m at it; another piece of pending legislation is Georgia House Bill HB394 that has me “frosted!” This gun bill (HB394), add all former and current General Assembly members to the exemption list, 16-11-130, as to where [they] can “carry.”
There is no limit to the arrogance of some of our elected representatives!! I wrote to my Georgia representatives and told them I expect to see a “NO” from them when this bill comes up for a vote!
Hack politicians exempting themselves from legislation of their making needs to be stopped right now at the grassroots!! Have you noticed, these hacks always exempt themselves from legislation that will create an undue burden on the constituencies? Human nature, how much thought is needed if you can just exempt yourself from the negative ramifications of the act?? Let’s start telling our representatives “NO,” you’ll live by the laws/regulations you create for us!!

The anti gun movement in the central government is not about safety or life and death of the poeple. That care nothing for our lives or deaths.
It is about power. By elliminating the TOOL that makes an average citizen more powerful reduces the power of the rulling ellite. The ellite have a fundamental need to be more powerful. The only way this can be accomplished once they are on the top is by making the bottom weaker. The fear the loss of their power.
The same applies to money (another tool). The ruling ellite are making themselves vastly more weathy by making the rest of us vastly poorer. This has been going on for years and is accelerating.
Eventually we (the people) will be pushed to such weakness and so poor we cannot afford food to live, the whole situation will suddenly and violently explode from simple desperation.
This has happened with every government in history. It is a natural and inevitable progression. I fear that we are quickly approaching that point and I suspect that nothing we do can stop it from happening but only slow the progression.
The hording of ammuntion and food ( I know many people that have large stores of canned food and ammo, average people you wouldn’t suspect) tells me to hunker down and expect the worst.
I hope I am proven wrong.
I do enjoy listening to the podcast while I’m at work in the largest arms free zone in the country. Keep up the message.

What’s the call-in number for the show?
I have heard reports of federal officers going to peoples homes with a lst of thier gun serial numbers & asking the person listed
to produce thier gun for a serial number check,,the bernie hompson show had one lady on the show live & apparentlyshe checked out,,but furthr investigation is being carried out

The saddest part about Sandy Hook, (The Lost Lives). And the nuts who have highjacked it for their agenda… After
9-11 happened, We the people all pulled together to mourn the lost of life and for their family’s.
Our Nation was robbed of the mourning process because we are trying too damn hard defending our 2nd amendment rights… These people need to go away and stop trying to control our lives…, We didn’t kill anyone “Bloomberg” nor did we break any laws.
I just heard last weeks show on pod cast, near the end of hour 2, There is an AR-15 Rabbi version for sale. If you read the Bible amendments 1&2 are in the book of Queen Ester 8:11. Read the whole book of Ester for the first arms grab and aniahlation. 3,500 years ago.

You’ve gotten >100k signatures on one petition. Maybe it’s time to create another petition to create posted, mobile “gun free zones” around the President, Vice President, Representatives, Senators, and their families and put the Secret Service to work elsewhere. There WAS a petition like that up on the Whitehouse’s site but it got insufficient signatures.
The new petition would allow the individuals and their families to carry concealed within THEIR gun free zone, but ONLY with magazines with a capacity of 7 rounds or less, and “assault weapons” would certainly be banned within their mobile gun free zones.
