Let’s call it like it is. After the Boston Bombing we should no longer refer to pressure cookers by that name, but by the new designation of Assault Pots.
Also, we need a seven year waiting period, extensive background checks, and special permits to purchase such Appliances of Mass Destruction.
John, 7 year waiting period will help the bad guys, they’ll get weapons while the good guys wait. Bad guys don’t need back ground check s they’ll get weapons at their convenience. Assault Pots, permit not needed just go to a good web site. Do you think a terrorist is going to apply for a permit.

Bigger is not always better ie: IRS , HHS, DOJ. Do we become sheep to a big all powerful lobby group, where corruption can occur. That is not grass roots conservatism.

All I can say is that I don’t hear the GOA mentioned when I talk with members of Congress.
Numbers speak.
Don’t get me wrong. I applaud and support the GOA, but I also don’t get fooled into thinking that it has much weight on The Hill.

The GOA format for contacting my representatives with our gun right concerns is easier than that of the NRA. Besides using their composed messages along with my personal messages, allows me to quickly and often contact my representatives. I agree with you, vote or shut up!

The recent London incident where a soldier was attacked by two men… While one held a gun the other proceeded to butcher the soldier and finally decapitate him in front of bystanders in broad daylight. this demonstrates how well gun control works… Disarm everyone, except the bad guys… Would they be able to do the same thing here in the United States? Think about it… Sensationalism at its best, shock factor… Thats what these radicals are looking for. its only a matter of time before it happens here. They’ll grab the headlines in seconds. The media will be all over it.
The path of gun control / gun free zones simply creates an environment where the common man cannot protect himself or others.
It took somewhere between 9 & 14 minutes for police to respond, by then it was too late.
What would have happened if an armed citizen were there… Maybe that soldier would still be alive!
Gun Control… It simply doesn’t work.
My prayers go out to his family and all affected by this traumatic incident.
I’m glad you took my advice on video casting both you, the other program that I first saw webcast beside Rush was Joe Pags and his producer, when they go off for commercials they did allow listeners to hear the conversation between Joe and his producer. What I see between you two it would be a hoot would really be fun to listen, another FUN filled educational radio program!
Thank you for your program
Most sincerely

Mark,
Here’s another “armed homeowner” story that’s enjoyable to listen to:
Unlucky thieves throw victim in closet full of firearms | Fox News Video
http://video.foxnews.com/v/2394349440001/unlucky-thieves-throw-victim-in-closet-full-of-firearms/
Homeowner’s thoughts…
“Wow–My lucky day….but certainly not their lucky day…..
Do I go for the Glock and a head-shot?? Or–do I go for the shotgun and a body-shot??
I’ve had this gun closet for a long time….and I’ve been waiting my entire lifetime for exactly this moment.”
