hey mark, love the show. I have two things for you, first is about your podcast of hour 3. for some reason it only shows 30 min. and 19 sec. and it cuts me off so i miss the last 22 min. or so of the round table broadcast. is there any way you could fix it? my second question is,and this goes out to George hill and to any expert out there on your show. I own a Springfield XD 45 ACP compact, and i love the gun, but, it is hard to find holsters and accessories for it. And when i inquire about holsters to companies, all they said is, is that, there are not enough interest in the 45 XD yet, and will only make them for the XD9 and XD40. So what do you think guys? did I make a mistake in buying this gun? or am i just looking in the wrong places? any information would be helpful.
thanks,
mark from Salem, Oregon
Mark, check out Kholster at http://www.kholster.com/
Jimmy is about as helpful as can be and his IWB holsters are so comfortable you wont know you’re carrying. I’ve purchased 2 of them they’re so nice. The might not be a fashion show winner but you can tuck your shirt in concealing your gun and still be ready to use it. You wont be disappointed and Jimmy guarantees that for 30 days.
Mark,
I particularly enjoyed the DC broadcast with you and the whole group of “gun nuts”. Because of that occasion I wanted to offer this slightly different opinion of the Second Amendment. (“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”) The group focused on this amendment to the constitution as if it bestows a right to the people.
My view is that it does not! If you look at the history during the time of it’s writing you must recognize the continental congress had formed a new nation in desparation to establish freedom for the seperate states. The thing feared in this undertaking besides the wrath of England, was that our own newly formed government would also try to rule over the individual states.
The Second Amendment was not the granting of a right, but instead it’s sole purpose was to prohibit the federal government from ever attempting to disarm the states. First acknowledging each state’s need for a militia, and second prohibiting the federal government from disarming the people. The right already existed, and this amendment was to insure no interference would ever come from federal authority.
Of course this means that BATF is an unconstitutional agent of the federal government as are all supporting regulations.
Just my opinion.

Mark, I hear AAR via downloaded recordings on CD’s and enjoy all. One program just about fills a week’s travel to and from a night job.
Everything with George Hill and other guests is enlightening and entertaining, and the ‘Roundtable’ is a great closer.
Please check your audio set up for listeners sake. Your normally clear and audible voice faded on me several times during hours 2 and 3 of the 4/11 broadcast from Arizona, even though George and the senator were loud and clear.
I’ve just started the Patriot Day program from DC, and things are good so far.
Carry on for freedom!
