AAR 11-29-2009 Broadcast Hour 1

Another home run!  Gabe Suarez of Suarez International and One Source Tactical re-joined me for one solid hour of intense training talk.  Man, is he good!  Sit back, relax and listen to one of the nations most respected force-on-force trainers tell you EXACTLY like it is IN THE REAL WORLD!

AAR 11-29-2009 Broadcast Hour 2

Another great hour and a real treat to have Gabe Suarez stay with me for the first half of hour number 2.  The Mad Ogre George Hill called in and we simply continued a tremendous educational conversation with one of the worlds foremost gunfighting experts.  Just simply put, another great hour of talking self-defense.

Segment three of this hour was also a real treat.  I was joined by Radio Giant and FOX News Contributor, Mike Gallagher.  He was….well…he was just like you would expect the nations 6th most listened to conservative talker…Incredibly smooth and very pointed…and also a big fan of AAR!

Enjoy!

AAR 11-29-2009 Broadcast Hour 3

Wow, Nikki Goeser, Kathy Jackson and the Mad Ogre!  George called in at the top of the second hour and I just couldn’t help but keep him on for the third hour, too!  He joined the already pre-scheduled guests, Kathy Jackson and Ms. Niki Goeser who was originally scheduled to appear during hour number 2. A little football game (titans) got in the way and she was able to join us after the game.  She gives you some updates on the TN law that was circumvented by a rogue and liberal kook, anti-gun judge who hates your rights.

Kathy was great as usual and gave the female listener some very valuable advice.  When it comes to women and guns, no one comes close to Kathy and her opinions are some of the most respected in the nation.

AAR 11-22-2009 Broadcast Hour 1

Massad Ayoob, George Hill…Need I say more?  What a GREAT hour this was.  I’m telling you, Massad is the BEST.  His advice is the most respected in the nation regarding personal defense and simply put…there isn’t any one better.  When Massad speaks, you listen.  George Hill joined us both for the full hour and as usual, the broadcast is elevated to the next level with both of these fine men and their expert opinions and advice.

AAR 11-22-2009 Broadcast Hour 2

Joining me tonight for the second hour of AAR was Mr. David Burnett, Midwest Regional Director  of Students for Concealed Carry on Campus.  David laid out the case for CCW on campus just as I expected he would.  Because he is RIGHT.  David has cemented himself as a regular guest in the future and was a very refreshing voice.  A great second hour with The Mad Ogre, George Hill and Mr. Burnett.  Enjoy!

AAR 11-22-2009 Broadcast Hour 3

The third hour went so fast it was hard to believe it was actually an hour.  Jim Irvine, Chairman of the Buckeye Firearms Association and my very good friend joined George Hill and I for the solid hour as we welcomed listeners from the Buckeye Firearms forum.  The firearms forum ended its one year broadcast last weekend and many of his listeners will be joining AAR from here on out.  In addition, Jim discussed in detail the Buckeye/USCCA Brief for the upcoming McDonald supreme court case.  Having spent the last year on the radio hosting the Forum, Jim is one of my favorite guests and knows how to make you believe!  Many other topics flew by during AAR’s first third hour!

11-15-2009 AAR Broadcast Hour 1

If you are on the fence about owning a gun for self defense.  Listen to this hour!

Joining me in studio was Mr. John Kittrell, subject of my Ordinary Guy column “No Rest at This Stop” which appeared in the last issue of Concealed Carry Magazine.  John is a close personal friend of mine for many years who found himself the unarmed victim of a violent armed robbery at a South Carolina rest area.  His story will make you stop and think as well as reaffirm your decision to arm yourself for personal protection.

11-15-2009 AAR Broadcast Hour 2

Mr. Phil Van Cleave of the VCDL (Va Citizens Defense League) joined me for the full second hour and discussed a wider range of topics.  Phil is a good friend of this broadcast and a wealth of information for the average gun owner.  Well schooled in the topics of the day, Phil was, as usual…A great discussion!

Enjoy!

11-08-2009 AAR Broadcast Hour 1

There were some minor changes to the planned discussion this week due to some current events that made it necessary for us to deviate slightly.  Dr Bruce Eimer joined me for the first hour with Ms. Kathy Jackson to de-bunk some of the anti-gun and mainstream media regarding the Ft. Hood incident.  There’s no one better than Kathy Jackson when it comes to a woman’s unique perspective and combined with the wisdom of Dr. Eimer, this made for very compelling radio.

I am proud to announce that Ms. Suzanna Hupp joined me on air for the second hour for what was probably one of the best AAR broadcasts to date.

From Wikepedia:

On Wednesday, October 16, 1991, Hupp and her parents were having lunch at the Luby’s Cafeteria in Killeen TX. She had left her handgun in her car to comply with Texas state law at the time which forbade carrying a concealed weapon. When George Hennard drove his truck into the cafeteria and opened fire on the patrons, Hupp instinctively reached into her purse for her weapon, but it was in her vehicle. Her father, Al Gratia, tried to rush Hennard and was shot in the chest. As the gunman reloaded, Hupp escaped through a broken window and believed that her mother, Ursula Gratia, was behind her. Hennard put a gun to her mother’s head as she cradled her mortally wounded husband. Hupp’s mother and father were killed along with twenty-one other persons. Hennard also wounded some twenty others. As a survivor of the Lubys Massacre, Hupp testified across the country in support of concealed-handgun laws. She said that had there been a second chance to prevent the slaughter, she would have violated the Texas law and carried the handgun inside her purse into the restaurant.

Ms. Hupp was incredibly easy to talk to and the hour was one of the best I have ever spent behind the microphone.  Her insight, her intensity, her passion and her incredible intelligence all shown through during our discussion.  I can promise that after you listen to this you will, like me, run out and pre-order her new book “From Luby’s to the Legislature”.
