Could China possibly want us to lose our gun rights so when / if they decide to attack us we will be unarmed. I had heard many years ago that because we an armed citizenry our enemies are afraid to invade uor country

Why carry open? Why carry concealed? Great questions. Carry concealed. The reason is simple and that is that it (a) makes the bad guys wonder if YOU are the one with a gun in their pocket; and (b) prevents the bad guy from knowing that you are the guy with the gun in your pocket and removes from them the opportunity to snatch that gun and use it against you. It also takes away the opportunity of a whacko at work or play clobbering you, swiping your gun and making nasty use of it for their own neferious purposes. CONCEALED CARRY – AND DON’T TELL. It’s like being caught between a rock and a hard place, no?

Why carry open? Why carry concealed? We know from a tactical standpoint it is more dangerous to carry openly.But I like people(and they always do ask) If I have a permit. It opens up a whole dialogue on rights and laws most have no idea exsist.Also a big hat tip to the town hall meeting people that brought firearms, excellent job. I hope we can talk about this in the future as I only had seconds to get that out and not explain where I am coming from.
I’ll post about this on MadOgre.com soon…. hopefully you will see where I am coming from. You don’t have to agree with me, but at least you will see my point of view.
See, I’m all about keeping my cards close to my chest if you know what I mean. I don’t want to give THEM any more ammo to use against us. I don’t want them to know what we are capable of… they have no idea.

Mr. Hill and you made the closing comment that now was not the time to be openly carrying fire arms at town hall meetings, as it is “inflammatory”. You are totally incorrect.
“Inflammatory”, peaceful protest, “Out of the closet, and into the street” is exactly what has changed the Gay rights debate from decriminalization, to same sex marriage. The incident in Phoenix proves the inability of the left to honestly deal with the topic of civil rights, and the times they are caught fabricating stories such as the “racist” overtones of Black rifles being carried, (when it turns out the man carrying it was HIMSELF African American ) the more it under scores, and under cuts the administrations anti American agenda.

Barack Obama is perhaps the best thing that has happend to shooting sports, personal defense, and the 2nd Amendment in the past several decades! Gun sales are up, CCW permits are hitting record numbers nation wide. People are taking action like never before. It ocasionally takes someone like our president to rally the american people around a common cause. That cause is our freedoms and the the rallying cry has to be “Beware the enemy within!” Now is the time to write your congress person, write your senators. Make sure they hear your concerns.
